Our minimum research target is £250,000. The research project is divided into two distinct phases, securing the minimum target will help us get to the milestone of live data reporting faster. Project Milestones & Data Integrity
Our goal is the seamless integration of renewable gasifier units with our residential and workshop pilot facilities. We recognise that while we may seek a single institutional partner, the path forward may involve a community of multiple donors.
Please note that during the Initial Integration Phase—the period required to physically construct, calibrate, and sync the gasifiers with the solar hybrid system— raw data streams and analytical feedback will not yet be active. Data reporting will officially commence once the system achieves stable, integrated operation.
We are committed to absolute transparency and will provide regular photographic and narrative updates on the physical construction progress until we reach the Data-Live Milestone.
Our priority is ensuring that when the data arrives, it is rigorous, verified, and reflective of a fully optimised system.
The SolHusk Roadmap: From Foundation to Live Data
To ensure scientific rigor and operational transparency, this research project is divided into two critical phases:
Phase 1: Asset Securing & Structural Development(The "Bare Bones" Phase)
The primary goal of this phase is to establish the physical laboratory of the grove. This includes:
• Land & Feedstock Security: Securing the coconut plantation assets to ensure a consistent, long-term supply of biomass.
• The Hardware Iteration: Finalising the engineering of the individual gasifier units and procuring the initial solar hybrid components.
• Structural Setup: Constructing the "Hub"—the residential pilot and the small family business workshop—designed to demonstrate the principle of concept in a real-world setting.
Phase 2: System Integration & The "Data-Live" Milestone
Once the structural elements are in place, we move into full-scale synchronisation:
• System Hardening: Integrating the gasifiers with the solar array and battery storage to create a unified, self-sustaining power grid.
• Calibration & Telemetry: Installing the sensor arrays and data-logging hardware required to monitor MJ/kg output and thermal efficiency.
• Activation: This phase concludes with the "Data-Live" Milestone, at which point we will begin delivering the weekly data drops and 24/7 live telemetry streams for our strategic partners. Allowing our partners to scale to market residential gasifier units as well as larger Regional Hub versions.
